New Delhi [India], October 10 (ANI): COVID-19 sufferers on the MCD-run Hindu Rao hospital will likely be shifted to Delhi authorities hospitals as medical doctors and different employees of Hindu Rao have given a discover for a strike, Delhi well being minister Satyendra Jain mentioned on Saturday.
This comes amid protests by resident medical doctors of the Hindu Rao hospital over non-payment of salaries for the previous few months.
“The employees of the hospital must be paid their salaries. If the MCD is just not capable of run Hindu Rao and Kasturba hospitals, then they need to hand them over to the State authorities,” Jain informed reporters right here.
Resident medical doctors of the hospital continued their protest on Saturday with posters and slogans demanding cost of salaries.

“Is that this how COVID-19 frontline staff must be handled? The MCD is blaming the Delhi authorities and the Delhi authorities is blaming the MCD. We’re struggling on this political soccer,” says a protestor.
Reaching out to assist fellow practitioners, the Resident Docs Affiliation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Tuesday wrote a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal requesting his intervention.
Earlier in June, the Delhi Medical Affiliation (DMA) wrote a letter to House Minister Amit Shah, in search of an appointment over the non-payment of salaries of resident medical doctors of Kasturba Hospital, Hindu Rao Hospital, and different hospitals or dispensaries below North Delhi Municipal Company
Citing issues being confronted by households of medical doctors, the medical affiliation mentioned: “Underneath such hectic state of affairs, medical doctors have been put below avoidable further psychological stress and distractions as a result of non-payment of their salaries.” (ANI)
